Much of the book Appears to be a hand-copied ms rather thn a printed edition. Local composers are represented but most works are without attribution. The book once belonged to William Bottle of Harrietsham. Some of the music is 'West Gallery' music. It is possible Henry Tolhurst was the composer of some, if not all, of the anon pieces.
